Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The SC Department of Public Health issued an emergency PO to allow us time to develop a solicitation. A recent ruling from the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) at the Division of Procurement Services has found that market research does not support a conclusion that these services are in fact available from only one source. The Division of Procurement Services is investigating the possibility of a statewide term contract for these services. The emergency PO was necessary to prevent a lapse in service for the agency. DPH, in accordance with South Carolina Procurement Code, Section 11-35-1570 and Regulation 19-445.2110, is providing public notice of the emergency contract to Microsoft Corporation. The total estimated dollar amount of the service contract purchases is $710,000.00.
