• Tree work will begin on Collenton Avenue at the Charleston Street intersection and proceed west towards downtown. This will include all parkways and ROWs along Collenton Avenue as well as all side streets. o Average parkway may need – Pruning, tree removals, dead wooding, balancing & shaping, roadway clearance pruning, stump grinding, etc. • Minimum experience – 5 years • Will communicate and take direction from City Arborist (Aaron Campbell) on a daily basis • Ability to perform significant volume of work between November 2025 and April 2026 o Minimum daily requirements are one bucket truck, one chip truck and chipper, one skid steer and a six-man crew or approved equals ▪ Climber(s) preferred for detailed pruning o Projected budget maximum is $200,000.00 with no guarantee of full amount being released. o Billing will be submitted to the City on a monthly basis. Payment terms net 30 days. o Provide a daily rate based on the crew, in accordance with the above stated minimum daily requirements, working on site for eight hours per day • Work performed to ANSI standard 300A • OSHA compliant • Responsible for MUTCD compliant work zones when applicable • Prefer ISA certified Arborist and TRAQ certified • Must have a current City business license and commercial general liability insurance, with a minimum per occurrence limit of $1,000,000 and naming the City of Aiken an additional insured, and workers’ compensation insurance.
