The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified sources to establish a contract or multiple contracts through competitive negotiations to provide for Roofing Installation Services on an as-needed basis for current and future University of Mary Washington (“UMW” or “University”) properties (including historic buildings) leased or owned by the University, an Agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia. In order to be determined a responsive bidder, Offerors must be an established Contractor holding a Class A License in Roofing, be registered in eVA, have an established location within 60 miles driving distance of the University’s Fredericksburg, VA campus at 1301 College Avenue, and meet the requirements as outlined in Section VI, STATEMENT OF NEEDS. This solicitation is issued as a follow on to UMW’s current contract #UMW 18-728.
