A. The Contractor must have a certified welder to perform the work and provide all supervision, labor, transportation, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the completion of services. a. The welder must be a certified welder by the American Welding Society in stainless steel, aluminum, Metal Inert Gass (MIG), and stick. B. The Contractor must have a permanent, principal place of business, in which the service is provided, within the city limits of Corpus Christi, Texas C. The Contractor shall give priority to City vehicles over other customers. D. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, and supplies necessary to perform the service labor and any compensation shall be included in the labor cost. E. The City will provide all fabrication materials. F. The Contractor shall not charge travel or overtime and must be available to work as needed on City holidays and weekends. G. The Contractor shall perform work in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and/or recommendations, as applicable, including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines and must follow all applicable safety regulations and guidelines. H. All on-site work will be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. I. The Contractor shall provide a repair estimate, based on contract pricing, for each repair/service, within five business days of receipt/inspection of equipment. Labor will be compensated at actual hours worked times the rate shown in the contract. J. Repairs/Service shall be completed as per lead time noted on the estimate.
