The intent of this bid is to identify three (3) qualified surveying companies for possible future use by the City on various projects over a one (1) year period of time. Using the rates quoted, only these three (3) companies will be contacted when a surveying need arises to provide a quote based on a specific scope of services provided by the department requesting the work to be done. The company providing the low quote at that time will most likely be selected to undertake the surveying job unless there are other pertinent factors involved (i.e., timeliness of response, manpower availability, etc.) A NH registered, professional land surveyor shall be responsible for all work performed. Vendor shall also hold professional / error and omissions insurance coverage. In addition, there may be occasions when specific project-related civil engineering design services are also required to complement the surveying services component of the total scope of services being requested. Rates for a licensed, professional engineer shall be supplied for “as needed” services along with the surveying related charges. These are not to be standalone rates but are to be utilized and applied only when there is a combined surveying / engineering project as defined by the Dover Engineering Division of the Community Services Department.
