A. The work of this Contract is located Geyser Rd in the City of Saratoga Springs. The two pump stations described below 1. Ball 2 - is at the corner of Old Ballston Ave North 2. Ball 1 – off Old County Road. 1.02 SCOPE OF WORK A. The Work to be done in accordance with these Contract Documents consists of providing the equipment, superintendence, labor, skill, material and all other items necessary for the construction of the Project. The Contractor shall perform all Work required for such construction in accordance with the Contract Documents and subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract, complete and ready for use. B. All cutting, coring, and rough patching shall be performed by the Prime Contractor requiring the opening.. Finish patching shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor requiring the opening and shall be performed by the trade associated with the application of the particular finish. C. The Work (inclusive of alternate bid items) includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. General Construction Base Bid – Provide all work shown on the Contract Drawings and as specified in Divisions as follows: a. Item 1G - Provide all applicable work associated with General Requirements in Division 01, including but not limited to: 1) Mobilize and demobilize as many times as necessary during the project 2) Provide and maintain project insurance and security/bonds including but not limited to bid, performance, labor and material, and all required maintenance bond all in the amount equal to 100% of the final contract price. 3) All coordination with all regulatory authorities including local codes offices, NYS DEC, Saratoga County DPW, funding agencies, and City of Saratoga Departments as applicable, etc. 4) Coordination with the Owner, Owner’s staff, Engineer, etc. 5) Prepare a construction schedule in accordance with Sections 01 12 16 and 01 30 00. Incorporate the schedules furnished by other Contractors for the purposes of showing all contracts on a consolidated overall schedule. The General Contractor shall submit their schedule in accordance with Section 01 30 00. 6) If applicable, submit/process/execute change orders in compliance with Sections 01 26 63.
