Key Tasks and Deliverables Network Operations and Management The Network Manager will maintain and operate CTSI’s ISP network infrastructure, ensuring performance, compliance, and quality of service. • 24/7 monitoring, fault detection, and resolution. • Regular maintenance, software updates, and performance optimization. • Adherence to technical standards: 99.99% uptime, low latency, secure protocols. • Emergency response protocols and detailed documentation. Capacity Planning and Network Expansion The Network Manager shall ensure network scalability and manage future growth. • Forecast demand and plan upgrades. • Recommend and support future expansion Outside Plant Services The Network Manager shall provide comprehensive Outside Plant (OSP) management, operations, and maintenance services, ensuring the integrity, reliability, and performance of CTSI’s fiber optic infrastructure. OSP operations should comply with OSHA, NESC, and industry safety standards. Responsibilities include: • Drop installations, NID to ONT connections. • Preventative maintenance and emergency response for fiber infrastructure. • OSP Network Inspection and Maintenance • Accurate documentation of OSP infrastructure, including route maps, splice documentation, and GIS updates.
