The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment (arrow boards, crash cushions, CMS, truck mounted attenuators, vehicles, etc.), tools, radios, cell phones, signs, sign stands, parts and materials, as necessary to perform temporary traffic control services including lane closures or shoulder closures, used in conjunction with work performed by various VDOT crews or other VDOT contractors. The Contractor shall coordinate the provided traffic control services on an “as needed” basis with the VDOT Contract Administrator or designee. Work shall be performed on various Interstate, Limited Access, Primary, and Secondary Routes as ordered by the VDOT Contract Administrator or designee. The pre-planned deployments listed shall be complete and without additional undisclosed cost to VDOT. TMAs and rumble strips will be paid as separate items for all TTC situations. It is anticipated that no Temporary Traffic Control set-up, contained in this IFB, will be set in one location for a period that exceeds three (3) consecutive days. Therefore, no permanent signs will need to be erected.
