The scope of services includes the following: 1. Project Initiation and Coordination • Conduct a project kickoff meeting with City staff to review goals, schedule and data needs. • Establish lines of communication and reporting protocols throughout the project. 2. Data Collection and Condition Assessment • Explanation of assessment method for determining pavement conditions that is objective, consistent, and efficient. This could include deflection testing, laser crack measurement systems, ground penetrating radar, infrared thermography, automated pavement condition survey vehicles, or other technology in addition to visual inspection. • Explain ability to include assessment of other street infrastructure including signs and guardrail as an optional addition to the work. • Perform automated data collection across approximately 193 miles of Citymaintained roadways, including alleys, neighborhood streets, collectors, arterials, and state routes within City limits. • Description of automated data collection technology to be used. • Collection condition data may include, but is not limited to pavement distress types, severity, and extent; ride quality; and surface condition. • Condition data should include video of the existing pavement condition. • Ensure data is georeferenced and compatible with the City’s GIS and asset management system.
