Contractor agrees to offer digital audio players for purchase by residents. Only residents in approved incentive/privilege levels may purchase players. Projected population for each site can be found in Attachment A. Players and music shall be made at the following locations: 4.1.1.1 El Dorado Correctional Facility 4.1.1.2 Ellsworth Correctional Facility 4.1.1.3 Hutchinson Correctional Facility 4.1.1.4 Lansing Correctional Facility 4.1.1.5 Larned State Correctional Facility 4.1.1.6 Norton Correctional Facility 4.1.1.7 Oswego Correctional Facility 4.1.1.8 Stockton Correctional Facility 4.1.1.9 Topeka Correctional Facility 4.1.1.10 Wichita Work Release Facility 4.1.1.11 Winfield Correctional Facility 4.1.2 Players and accessories must be able to be ordered by residents via account withdrawal request (AWR) through KDOC Centralized Inmate Banking. Music may be purchased through media accounts funded by AWR and/or family members. 4.1.3 Confirmed orders will be shipped to facility within 48 hours of receipt of order by Contractor. 4.1.4 Contractor shall ship player to facility with all software, controls, and purchasing resident’s name and number assigned to the player. 4.1.5 Contractor must know where the resident is located and the player must be shipped to current location. KDOC will supply Contractor a daily file with resident housing location. The packaging shall include at minimum the resident’s name, KDOC identification number, and housing location including facility name. Facility staff will not forward the player to another facility. 4.1.6 Media players and all parts shall be clear/see through. 4.1.7 Sound may only be emitted through the headphone/ear buds. 4.1.8 Players must include a manual on/off switch, clear ear bud stereo headphones with 3.5mm connector, and memory size of approximately 32GB storage. 4.1.9 Players shall operate with Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery which is non-removable. The A/C charger must be clear and have a clear cord used for charging. 4.1.10 The player shall have a color TFT color LCD screen not smaller than 1 ½ inches wide by 1” high. 4.1.11 Player and user manual shall be available in English and Spanish...
