The City of Bowling Green, KY is soliciting bids for Phase 1 of the Bowling Green Riverfront Park. The project includes demolition of existing pavement, utilities, and vegetation; deactivation and removal of a leachate pump system; and all excavation, grading, and earthwork required to prepare the site. Major improvements consist of a new reinforced concrete boat ramp with sheet piling, riprap stabilization, and channel work; new sidewalks, curbs, stairs, walls, stabilized aggregate surfacing, and asphalt pavement; storm sewer systems including pipe, inlets, and headwalls; and installation of water service, irrigation, electrical service, conduit, wiring, lighting, and related components. The project also includes landscaping and planting of trees, shrubs, meadow and turf areas, as well as installation of site furnishings such as benches, tables, receptacles, bike racks, and bollards.
