The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following: Construction of a 8,000 sq.ft. warehouse facility that houses dry storage materials for the site. 1. New Construction: a. General Construction: Sitework consisting of removal of vegetation, grading, preparation subbase for foundation, soil erosion control, concrete flatwork, footings and foundations, prefabricated metal building structure, bollards, metal gutters, downspouts, building insulation, metal doors and frames, metal insulated overhead coiling doors, painting, overhead traveling crane, and miscellaneous general construction. b. Mechanical: 1) HVAC: Furnishing and installing new gas-fired condensing unit heaters and controls, intake and exhaust wall louvers and dampers with electric actuators, wall mounted propeller type exhaust fans and temperature controls, interior and exterior natural facility distribution gas piping. 2) Plumbing: Furnishing and installing new plumbing trench drain and associated underground soil and waste pipe and pipe fittings, vents, condensate drains, and sewer piping specialties. c. Electrical: 1) New electrical 480v/3/60 building service, facility 12,470 to 480v transformer, electrical power distribution raceways, motor controllers, wiring and associated devices, switchgear, distribution panels, lighting fixtures, lightning protection system, power outlets, 2) Special Systems: Fire alarm system, grounding system, and security raceways.
