1.1. The mission of the Arizona Department of Gaming, Division of Problem Gambling is to provide effective problem gambling prevention, treatment, and education programs throughout Arizona. The Division’s vision is to support a sustainable continuum of services that reduces the impact of Problem Gambling in Arizona. 1.2. A part of the strategic plan to reduce problem gambling in Arizona, the Division is starting a Peer Support & Recovery program with the objective of providing an additional, non-clinical, treatment option to supplement the existing treatment services available to Arizona community members. 1.2.1. In addition to individuals seeking problem gambling assistance for the first time, this program would also benefit individuals who are currently in problem gambling treatment but now need a different level of care. 1.3. The Contractor shall establish and manage all aspects of the Peer Support and Recovery program. This program may be established within a Contractor’s existing addiction program.
