Estimated Annual Use of 0 tons – 25 tons The Copper Sulfate shall meet AWWA B-602-91 Standard for Copper Sulfate, and used in drinking water treatment primarily as an algicide. SECTION 6. The Copper Sulfate shall be shipped in 50-pound multiwall paper bags or in other DOT – approved containers. The net weight of the packages shall not deviate from the recorded weight by more than 2.5 percent. SECTION 7. The Copper Sulfate packing must bear a label reviewed and accepted by USEPA. Such a label must list the brand name, manufacturer or supplier, the active ingredients and contents, USEPA registration number as well as the USEPA establishment number indicating where the product was manufactured or last packaged. SECTION 8. The Copper Sulfate shall be exempt from extraneous materials and shall be free flowing. SECTION 9. The Copper Sulfate shall bear the commercial designation MEDIUM CRYSTAL, or be approximately 1/2 inches in size. SECTION 10. The quantity of Copper sulfate to be paid for shall be based on the net weight delivered.
