Stationary System Requirements 3.1. The stationary SCBA air compressor system with four fill stations shall be installed in Building 7 at the Fire Academy on Randall's Island, Queens. 3.2. SCBAAir Compressor: An enclosed horizontal system with minimum 36 standard cubic feet per minute (scfm) at minimum 5,000 pound per square inch (psi), driven by a 50 to 80 horsepower (hp), 3-phase electric motor. 3.3. Power Requirements: The compressor system shall operate on 208V, 3-phase, and require 262 Amps. The system shall include clearly labeled main power disconnect and be equipped with properly rated circuit protection. All control panels, wiring, and electrical enclosures shall be suitable for indoor use and protected from moisture, dust, and mechanical damage.
