Inspection services may apply to any and all sewer collection system infrastructure, primarily pipes and manholes of varying size and material. Specific equipment to be used must include closed-circuit television (CCTV) with sufficient lighting to allow observation and recording of defects, small-diameter push camera, lateral-launch mainline camera, sonar equipment, and acoustic Sewer Line Rapid Assessment Tool (SL-RATTM). CLEANING Cleaning services may apply to any and all sewer collection system infrastructure, primarily pipes and manholes of varying size and material. Cleaning shall be performed to remove grit/debris, grease, roots, and other foreign material from pipes and manholes and restore pipe capacity to 95%. If cleaning of an entire section cannot be successfully performed from one manhole, the Contractor shall attempt cleaning again from the other manhole. Contractor shall complete post-cleaning CCTV inspection immediately after completion of cleaning the line. If CCTV inspection shows the cleaning to be unsatisfactory, the Contractor shall re-clean and re-inspect the pipe segment at his expense. Specific equipment must include at least 500' high pressure 1" diameter hose per truck, jet nozzles, grease nozzles, sand nozzles, root nozzles, root saws, stub-in cutter, etc. All cleaning trucks must be clean/vacuum combination vehicles.
