PURPOSE Franklin County is soliciting a Request for Proposals from qualified Vendors to provide an application for managing work for the Hwy Dept. This application should leverage the existing on-premises database and be able to produce reports on previous history. SCOPE OF SERVICES In our current program, we have the following tabs to choose from: Roads Employees Reports Concerns Update Data Roads: Currently all the roads that are maintained by the Franklin County Highway Department are listed within this program. We need to be able to add/delete/edit roads, as well as update the information on the roads (Area, ROW, Miles, District, Quadrant, Half, Primary Road, Surface, Condition, Striping, Speed Limit and Comments). In this tab we can add materials costs to the road by highlighting that specific road, right clicking “add material” and then add the information. The date is physically added. The “mat type” is a drop-down option, the “category” stays the same, as we only add “material”, the “vendor” is a drop-down option. The invoice number, mat weight and cost are manually entered. Employees: Currently we have current and non-current employees listed. There are quick errors that are thrown up when trying to input a new employee. We need to have the ability to add, activate, deactivate and edit employee information. This is also the field where “weekly production time” is entered.
