3.3.2 Truck 3.3.2.1 The unit shall be a Single Axle, Conventional Cab truck. 3.3.2.2 Chassis shall be suitable for mounting a minimum – 4 cubic yard capacity hopper. 3.3.2.3 G.V.W minimum rating of 35,000 lbs. 3.3.2.4 Overall height of body and chassis shall not exceed 13’ 6” above level ground or as required for the arrangement and configuration of equipment bid. 3.3.3 Wheelbase 3.3.3.1 Shall be 207 inches minimum WB with a 120-inch minimum CA or as required for the arrangement and configuration of the equipment bid. 3.3.4 Engine 3.3.4.1 Cummins L9 – 300 HP or equal. 3.3.4.2 Equipment shall include oil filter, fuel filter, air filter with restriction gauge, water filters, and automatic fan control for specific engine as required by the manufacturer. 3.3.4.3 Cooling system to be manufacturer’s optional extended or increased capacity, with coolant filter, coolant recovery system, and coolant protection to -20 degrees. 3.3.4.4 Exhaust system with vertical muffler and vertical tail pipe with heat shield and grab handle. 3.3.4.5 Engine shall be equipped with a warning light and buzzer for high water temperature and low oil pressure and to include automatic engine shut down. 3.3.4.6 Electronic hand throttle, dash or steering mounted, with quick release.
