The Scope of Work for this project defined by the Contract Documents generally comprises the following: 1. Installation of temporary traffic control devices and implementation of temporary lane closures. 2. Installation, maintenance, and removal of construction barriers and signage along with installation of shoring, temporary facilities and controls, temporary protection required to maintain occupant access and egress during the work as shown in the Drawings and as required by Code. 3. Storage of materials and equipment in designated areas to maintain access for building occupants and prevent impact on occupants or building activities. 4. Disposal of discarded and waste materials off site. 5. Installation of structural shoring to support structural elements during execution of repairs. 6. Sounding of all concrete surfaces and marking of areas to be repaired. The Engineer shall review and approve the layout prior to the start of demolition.
