Install approximately Five+ (5+) EPDM Pads around existing rooftop penetrations to protect roof from foot traffic due to maintenance of equipment. 1. Location of the EPDM pads will be determined during the pre-bid meeting. 2. EPDM roles, widths and lengths, that minimize the number of joints shall be used. Contractor shall fabricate and install approximately 560 linear feet coping material. Coping Material shall be 24-gauge in thickness and shall have a finish Kynar 500, or equal coping material. Color to be chosen, by the WVDOH representative, from the standard color chart provided by the contractor. V. 1. Kynar is a PVDF resin system. PVDF is a fluorocarbon-based polymer. 2. Widths will be determined by Contractor. Lengths of the coping materials shall minimize the number of joints. Any repairs needed to the existing decking will be performed by the contractor and paid for by the square foot of decking material. WVDOH anticipates that there will be no more than 50 Square Feet of repairs needed. A square foot price will be listed on the pricing page. The area to be repaired will be agreed upon by the contractor and the WVDOH prior to repairs being made.
