Contractor to Construct 2 – Barrel 8’ Span x 6’ Height cast-in-place Box Culvert x 26’-0” in length (out-to-out of headwall Roadway Width) with 4 - 12’ long Parallel Wing Walls at 45 Degree Skew per TxDot Standard Multiple Box Culverts Drawings listed below: a) MC-MD – Multiple Box Culverts Cast-in-place Miscellaneous Details – Plan of Skewed Ends – Over 30 degrees to 45 degrees b) MC-8-13 - Multiple Box Culverts Cast-in-place 8’ Span 0’-13’ Fill c) PW – Concrete Wingwalls with Parallel Wings for Box Culverts TYPE PW-1 4. Bastrop County will provide Flow-Line elevation benchmark. 5. Bastrop County will locate Upstream Centerline of Boxes. 6. Contractor to excavate to 6’ below grade and backfill with 6” flex-base. 7. The Box Culvert and Wingwalls must be constructed ½ at a time to allow for traffic to remain live. This is a one way in and one way out dead-end road. 8. Contractor to provide, place and compact backfill in 6” lifts maximum for roadway and backside slopes to within 10” of Top of Box with select fill. 9.
