3.1 The Vendor shall be responsible for shipment with no physical damage to the equipment. 3.2 Freight or delivery company shall safely unload the materials and components without the assistance of County Staff. The package shall be placed on a location designated by the County Staff. 3.3 For Water systems, materials shall comply under American Water Works Association (AWWA) and National Sanitation Foundation and American National Standards Institute (NSF/ ANSI) 61 standards. For Wastewater systems, materials shall comply under AWWA standards. 3.4 The Contractor shall provide twenty-four (24) hour service, available seven (7) days a week. 3.5 The Contractor must respond within six (6) hours of request of goods and materials at the specified Waste Water Management (WWM) location unless otherwise noted. The Contractor shall, during the term of this Contract, respond to all callbacks/service requests to the satisfaction of the COR, within two (2) hours of notification. 3.6 Emergency Response – is the provision of temporary or permanent repairs, at the discretion of the DPW WWM, to any County property that becomes damaged by use, act of God or malicious mischief. The Contractor must respond to the request within 1-hour subsequent to notification of the emergency situation. The County Supervisor requesting goods and materials shall document the date, time, and the name of the contractor's representative. 3.7 After hours (or non-regular hours) are defined as anytime outside the acceptable regular hours of services defined and/or an unexpected and sudden event that must be dealt with urgently for the facility to provide continuous and uninterrupted service to the service area.
