1. Clarify, simplify, reorganize, and update the Development Ordinances to comply with Statestatutes, implement the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan, incorporate best practices, and ensure the regulations are logically organized and simply stated. 2. Provide illustrations where appropriate, particularly if the regulations require a particularlayout, signature block, design, etc. 3. Develop a detailed timeline schedule with milestones leading to the adoption of the updated Development Ordinances. 4. Identify appropriate stakeholder groups who may provide their insight and expertise on a variety of topics relating to various zoning districts. 5. Develop an appropriate community outreach program, in conjunction with County staff, which may include preparation of materials for handouts and posting on the Couty’s website. The intent is to have a strong, collaborative process between staff, Planning Commission, and Board of Supervisors, and to provide strategic, transparent updates to the community at defined milestones.
