Led by Superintendent Chris Reykdal, OSPI is the primary agency charged with overseeing public K–12 education in Washington state. Working with the state's two hundred ninety-five (295) public school districts, eight (8) state-tribal education compact schools, and public charter schools, OSPI allocates funding and provides tools, resources, and technical assistance so every student in Washington is provided a high-quality public education. School facility inventory and condition data is used by schools, the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), and the legislature to make funding decisions to address facility needs and provide a healthy and safe learning environment for students. Currently, many of Washington’s small school districts and eight (8) state tribal education compact schools do not have up-to-date inventory and condition data in the ICOS database. This project seeks a contractor to perform building inventory and condition assessments of school districts with enrollments of less than three thousand (3,000) students that have at least fifty percent (50%) of buildings not updated in ICOS in the last ten (10) years, as well as state tribal education compact schools (STECs).
