TRUCK CHASSIS 3.3.2.1 Dimensions 3.3.2.1.1 The unit shall be a single axle F550 chassis with an adequate wheelbase to accommodate cargo box body. 3.3.2.1.2 Chassis shall be 2-wheel drive. 3.3.2.1.3 GVWR: Minimum 16,000 lbs. as needed to accommodate 16-foot cargo body with equipment. 3.3.2.1.4 Cargo box body shall be minimum 15 feet and maximum 17 feet. 3.3.2.1.5 Vehicle shall have cabin air conditioning. 3.3.2.2 Engine 3.3.2.2.1 Shall be diesel or gasoline powered engine and suitable HP for truck and body equipment. 3.3.2.2.2 Powertrain shall be able to support the supply of electrical power to support computer and tv equipment, electric heater, air conditioning unit and all installed equipment. 3.3.2.3 Transmission 3.3.2.3.1 The unit shall be equipped with an automatic transmission sized for application with PTO provision if using under deck type equipment. 3.3.2.3.2 PTO, if using under deck option, shall be sized to operate VMAC or Vanair underdeck compressor kit or approved alternative to include all items necessary to provide air pressure for equipment service. 3.3.2.3.3 Dipstick location shall not interfere with PTO and installed equipment. 3.3.2.4 Generator Equipment 3.3.2.4.1 Truck shall be able to provide a minimum of 6.3Kw of power to support equipment operations. 3.3.2.4.2 Power shall be supplied by either under deck method, under hood method, standalone generator or a combination. 3.3.2.4.3 If supplying a stand-alone generator, fuel type of generator shall be the same as the fuel supply of the vehicle and in an easily accessible location.
