Contractor must provide a Medical Director of Exposure and a Back-up Medical Director of Exposure with duties that include but are not limited to the following: Duties * Annually reviewing, revising infectious disease and exposure control policies. * Recommending and reviewing data collection procedures regarding compliance, efficacy, and tolerance of infectious control procedures. * Being on a call at all times for infection control related problems or exposures. * Chairing quarterly infection control meetings to review and update policies and procedures and any related business. * Advising and overseeing the Fire Department's immunization program. * Providing medical evaluation to employees of the Fire Department on matters related to infection control at facilities located in Davidson County. * The Medical Director of Exposure Control of Back-Up Medical Director of Exposure Control must be available to Nashville Fire Department staff for a minimum of 24 hours per quarter for these duties.
