The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA”), acting by and through MTA Construction & Development (“MTA C&D”), seeks to engage a consultant to provide soil consultant services. The Consultant shall perform site inspections; evaluate boring samples; provide technical reports, evaluations, and interpretations; and all other services pertaining to soil conditions and their effects on MTA’s proposed and existing structures on an ongoing basis for all projects to which they are assigned. Consultants shall conduct training and seminars as requested on soil technology and various selected topics on geotechnical engineering involving both design and construction. The specific topic, schedules, and durations of these training sessions will be determined by MTA C&D. The projects included in the scope will be located primarily throughout New York City and within other MTA facilities and operations areas.
