The City of Soledad, hereinafter referred to as the “City”, is soliciting proposals for a firm to perform a Water, Sewer, and Recycled Water Rate Study. Qualified firms, hereafter referred to as “consultant(s)’ that meet the requirements set forth in this Request for Proposal are encouraged to participate. The City provides water and wastewater services for the residential, commercial, and industrial customers. In addition to the Soledad customers, the City provides water and/or wastewater services for the nearby Department of Corrections facilities (wastewater only), Dole Processing Plant, and Camphora Labor Camp, all of which are outside the city limits. Also, Golden State Vintners is inside the City limits, but has a special contract due to volume. The City also provides potable water from hydrants to local growers. The City is currently installing a recycled water system throughout the city.
