The selected Respondent shall collaborate closely with designated TPWD staff to provide as-needed legal services on a variety of construction related issues, including but not limited to the following: 5.1. Advise Owner on complex legal matters that arise during the construction process, including issues related to procurement, contract award and negotiations, contractor performance, contract monitoring and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 5.2. Review and recommend revisions to Owner’s standard public works contract templates, procurement documents, forms and related policies and procedures to ensure they provide optimal legal protection for the agency. 5.3. Assist in drafting, negotiating and/or revising contract terms and conditions for different project types and delivery methods, as requested by Owner to include, but not be limited to, the following: 5.3.1. Professional A/E & Land Surveying solicitations and contracts 5.3.1.1. Request for Qualifications for one-off projects 5.3.1.2. Request for Qualifications for Statewide Blanket Contracts for Professional Services
