The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified sources to enter into a contract to provide Paving, Concrete and Excavating Services for James Madison University (JMU), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Initial contract shall be for one (1) year with an option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods. Contractor to provide the following for James Madison University. The following list is what the university is currently projecting for its needs. Needs may change and therefore, services may be added or subtracted from the contract as required. Asphalt installation Asphalt cleaning, cut and patch Asphalt curb installation Crack filling Removal of existing asphalt and soft base materials Erosion and sediment control Bio-retention filtration Traffic control and barricade Asphalt stamping Line striping Concrete curb and guttering Surface treatment Site preparation Excavating Services Demolition Type Services (clearing infrastructure in designated project areas)
