1. The successful bidder shall furnish and install Havis Inmate Transport Kits, brand name or approved equivalent, Havis Window Guards brand name or approved equivalent, and Window Tinting on Ford Transit Window Vans. The 2024 Ford Transit Vans will be provided by the Department of Corrections. This work will be requested on an as needed basis and there is not a guaranteed number of kits to be installed. 2. The successful bidder shall provide the Inmate Transportation Kits, Window Guards, supervision, labor, materials, parts, wire, wire connectors, tape, loom, nuts, bolts, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to successfully install the Inmate Transportation Kits in the Ford Transit Vans 3. Installation shall be performed at the successful bidder’s location. Prices shall be all-inclusive to include all direct and indirect costs such as tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, general and administrative costs, fuel, supplies, parts runs, safety equipment, etc. No billable time or travel will be paid for time used making parts runs. All parts and supplies invoiced to the DOC shall be tax exempt since State Agencies are tax exempt. The DOC will allow contractors to change hourly rates lower than what the contractor bid in the price schedule, but no hourly rate charged to the DOC shall exceed the applicable hourly rate bid by the contractor.
