Pre-installation Phase 1 services will address developing a specific cost model for fabrication and installation of a single-family mass plywood house prototype based on the attached drawings and specifications. Phase 2, the full scope of work, includes fabrication and installation services to support research activities leading to a two-story free-standing single-family fully-assembled prototype unit (888SF) that includes systems, plumbing fixtures, equipment and finishes and a detailed cost data/cost model for all fabrication and construction. Note: no plumbing or electrical utilities connections will be required; the prototype will be installed on an existing concrete slab designed for testing research projects. 3.2. Pre-installation Phase1 consulting services will include a review of project requirements, incorporating constructability reviews, value engineering, and estimating for the completion of the project. See attached Exhibit A for fabrication documents and specifications. Consultant will submit a final project cost estimate at the end of the Pre-installation Phase for review and approval by University that includes an itemized budget of costs for individual services and/or items to be provided under a contract awarded pursuant to this RFQ as well as total price for the goods/services contemplated under this RFQ. If UO chooses not to continue services beyond the completion of Pre-installation Phase Services, the consultant’s compensation will be limited to the Pre-installation Phase Services maximum not-to-exceed fee.
