1. Hardware Procurement and Delivery. a. Supply enterprise-grade server hardware to replace existing VM hosts at both sites. b. Supply storage systems (SAN or equivalent) with high availability and sufficient capacity to support current and projected workloads. c. Supply core switching infrastructure for both data centers with appropriate throughput, redundancy, and management capabilities. 2. Design and Architecture. a. Collaborate with City of Newnan IT staff to validate requirements and finalize system design. b. Provide a scalable and resilient architecture that supports virtualization, storage, and network performance requirements. c. Ensure compatibility with existing or planned virtualization platforms. 3. Installation and Configuration a. Rack, cable, and install all hardware in the designated data center locations. b. Configure servers, SANs, and switches according to best practices for security, performance, and reliability. c. Assist with migration of virtual machines and data from the existing infrastructure to the new environment with minimal downtime. 4. Testing and Validation a. Perform end-to-end testing of all installed components, including: i. Virtualization functionality ii. Storage connectivity and performance iii. Network routing, switching, and failover capabilities b. Verify full failover capabilities between the production and DR sites, if applicable.
