his project requires the contractor to supply all expertise, personnel, equipment and materials for the overlay of the roof at the Josephine County Jail, located at 1901 NE F Street, Grants Pass, Oregon. The original roof was installed in 2000, and is a cap sheet built-up roofing system, which is still in place. There are currently two (2) different structural decks, a metal deck and a precast concrete deck There will be no tear off of the existing roofing system. Overlay work for the roof will include surveying and detecting moisture; making repairs where needed; removing, inspecting, repairing, and re-installing existing parapet copings; cleaning existing roof surfaces; and installing the County-selected roofing system.
