This contract includes but is not limited to providing labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform paving on asphalt and concrete pavement, and upgrades, replacements, and new construction on concrete traffic barriers, and other roadside concrete appurtenances, as well as roadside drainage features and slope repairs, as directed by the Engineer. This work may be required on any portion, bridge and tunnel approaches, highway mainline and ramps, parking lots, etc. of any of the Maryland Transportation Authority’s (MDTA) facilities. The work on this contract will be performed as on-call task assignments directed by the MDTA Engineer. The work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Full depth and partial depth patch 2. Full depth asphalt pavement reconstruction 3. Asphalt pavement grinding and overlay 4. Repairs and replacement to concrete pavements, traffic barrier, curbs, inlets, sidewalks, and other non-structural roadway features 5. Repairs to defects identified in jointed and reinforced concrete pavement 6. Concrete repair of sign and high mast light pole foundations 7. Crack repairs in concrete by pressure injecting epoxy or other methods 8. Addressing roadside slope failures via slope stabilization and repair 9. Miscellaneous repairs of drainage inlets including structural repairs and cleaning 10. Repair, replace, or install various drainage systems including joint seals, troughs, pipes, underdrains, downspouts, etc. 11. Temporary and permanent pavement striping 12. Provide and maintain Maintenance of Traffic 13. Other work as directed by the Engineer
