The work involved under this contract consists of furnishing all materials in strict accordance with the specifications which are made a part thereof. The purpose and scope of this specification are to outline the requirements for providing one vertical turbine water pump to replace the existing pump with the below specifications. The existing pump installed at the English Hill pump station is a Worthington vertical turbine pump, model 10M41W-3 and has a serial number of VTP-27229. The pump is powered by a three phase, twenty horsepower motor that operates at 460 volts, and produces 1755 rpm, and a Toshiba variable frequency drive (VFD). The VFD is a Toshiba VT130P9U4220 and has a serial number of 190300811. Pump and motor nameplates are included below, as well as a pump curve and building schematic.
