1. Recruitment Requirements a. The contractor will be paid a fee that is outlined in Section VIII Bidding Schedule/Price-Business Proposal for services that will be incurred when a referred student enrolls at the University of South Carolina Upstate and maintains enrollment beyond the withdrawal deadline for the first term of enrollment and has paid their bill for the term. b. Commission will be paid twice a semester, but only for the students that have paid in full and only after the last day to withdraw. As outlined in Section VIII Bidding Schedule/Price-Business Proposal. c. The contractor will need to agree to or bid less than the recruitment fee listed in the Bidding Schedule for a student referral per student, for students enrolling at the University of South Carolina Upstate. 2. Role of the Contractor(s) a. Direct in-country representation of the University of South Carolina Upstate to prospective students. b. Refer well qualified international students for admissions to USC Upstate. c. Deliver services in line with best practices in the field of international recruitment and which will enhance the reputation of the University of South Carolina Upstate in different regions through promotional and representation activities related to recruitment efforts. d. Provide academic counseling, assistance with college application process, assistance with required visa documents, and related international student marketing and recruitment services. e. Develop promotional materials only with the consent of and in collaboration with USC Upstate. Contractor agrees that any representation of the University of South Carolina Upstate name or related identification must be pre-approved by USC Upstate. f. Provide service to USC Upstate on a non-exclusive basis. g. Adhere to best practices and ethical conduct in the field of international recruitment.
