2.1. The Owners maintain various fuel sites containing underground and above ground storage tanks, as well as several maintenance facilities containing lubrication oil and grease dispensing and recycling systems and tools. 2.2. The Owners are seeking to contract petroleum fuel site and lubrication dispensing and recovery system repairs, maintenance, parts, testing and cleaning on a predetermined schedule and event specific request basis. 2.3. Providing timely field service for repairs when a fuel site is down is essential. 2.4. Vendor shall understand Gilbarco Gasboy fuel site controllers and software and be trained to repair and support these systems. 2.5. Vendor shall have the capability of dispatching a trained, fully equipped technician within four hours of the request for service during the Owners’ standard hours (7:30 – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday), unless the requirement is waived by the Owners. 2.6. After hours are defined as anything outside of standard hours. Regulatory Inspections, Cleaning and Compliance Testing Annual Testing – all test results to be documented and submitted to Owner. Automatic tank gauges All tank probes and sensors - where applicable. Tank and line leak detection test. Spill bucket integrity testing. Overfill detection devices. Emergency shut off switch function testing. Cathodic protection system – where applicable. Shear valve function testing. Secondary containment integrity – where applicable. Tank vent cap condition and seals. Fill point cap condition and seals. Fuel Quality Testing Semiannual sample testing of fuel inventory for microbial growth, ethanol blend percentage, biodiesel blend percentage, degradation, and quality analysis. Top, middle and bottom of fuel tank inventory to be inspected. Ensure fuel meets ASTM D975 and D4814. Treat fuel as necessary with biocide or conditioners. Report details of product used, amount, ratio calculations, tank identification and location to Owners. Annual Cleaning – all cleaning procedures to be documented and submitted to Owners. Replace all dispenser filters Remove any free water, sediment or sludger from bottom of tanks Polish fuel using recirculatory filtration equipment. Report volume of fuel polished per site and tank location. Report on sludge and volume of fuel removed from each tank.. Document and report to owners all evidence of sediment, water, sludge and condition of fuel inventory. Properly dispose of contaminates and contaminated fuel.
