This project requires the design, provision, and full functionality of several key systems, including electrical power generation and distribution, process/mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, structural, architectural, and DPCS monitoring and control, as well as flood mitigation. The work also encompasses sediment and erosion control, excavation, backfill, the construction of concrete structures, paving, and surface restoration. All elements of the Design-Build work will be executed in full conformance with the Conceptual Documents and all local codes. Project Scope Elements: The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Preparation of Underground Facility Procedure, including field surveys by each design discipline to verify the information about existing facilities shown on the Conceptual Document. 2. Perform and document a complete manhole and underground duct bank (conduits and conductors) survey from each power supply source to each building in the electrical scope of work for this project. 3. Preparation of Electrical, Civil (including Sediment & Erosion Control), Structural (including flood mitigation), HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and DPCS System Preliminary Technical Documents and Construction Drawings, for approval by WSSC. When ready to be issued for permits or construction, these drawings shall be stamped and signed by Professional Engineers licensed in the State of Maryland
