1. Remove one (1) Yamaha outboard engine, including all related equipment and components required for complete operation to power and steer the vessel. 2. Install one (1) new four-stroke (200hp) outboard engine meeting same performance specifications as existing engine, including all related equipment and components required for complete operation to power and steer the vessel. Sea trial vessel and brake in. 3. All equipment, parts and materials shall be new and of current manufacture. No exceptions. 4. Contractor shall install OEM parts. If OEM parts are unavailable, parts that are fully equal in quality and performance to original may be used with prior permission of WHMC. 5. All parts, components and related devices for mechanical systems that are worn or not in proper operational condition shall be repaired and/or replaced with new parts, components and devices. 6. When equipment or parts are to be replaced in their entirety and a contemporary design for said equipment is available, and is functionally equivalent and compatible, the equipment and/or parts of the newer design shall be used as the replacement. 7. All miscellaneous parts, components and related items necessary to perform the work, such as, but not limited to, gaskets, filters, belts, plugs, electrical, cables, lubricants, tools, test instruments, meters, etc., necessary for the complete operation of all replacement equipment, shall be supplied by the Contractor and included in the costs. 8. All work shall be completed by a certified marine dealer and installer. No exceptions. 9. Contractor’s workshop facility shall be located within thirty minutes travel time of the Town of Stratford. 10. Prior to performing any additional work, the awarded contractor must submit all cost proposals in writing for approval. 11. Provide three (3) year warranty on all equipment, materials, parts and labor. 12. Awarded bidder (“Contractor”) shall remain the single-point-of-contact for all warranty, maintenance and repair services. 13. Provide optional trade-in value for the one (1) removed engine. 14. Proposal cost to remove existing engine and install new engine meeting same performance specifications for complete operation of the vessel, shall include all equipment, parts, materials, labor, travel, warranty, tools, supplies, shipping and freight charges, overhead and profit.
