1. Snow plowing of Town roads on an as-needed basis. Services shall be provided at the Town’s request only. The award of the Bid shall in no way guarantee that any amount of work be provided by the Town to the Contractor(s) selected through the award process. 2. The Assistant Public Works Director or designee shall contact the Contractor to inform them whenever their services are needed. The Contractor shall be expected to have their personnel, vehicles and equipment deployed in Durham in 60 minutes or less from the time of contact. Inadequate response time shall be grounds for termination of the contract and/or elimination of annual incentive payment. 3. The contractor shall be paid a minimum of 3 hours per call out. 4. Any and all equipment contracted for shall be dedicated to the Town for snow plowing and removal operations for the duration of the contract and must either be staged at the Durham Public Works facility or other location(s) approved by the Assistant Public Works Director or their designee. 5. The quality of workmanship will be to the acceptance and satisfaction of the Assistant Public Works Director or their designee, who will supervise all work hereunder.
