A. Furnish and install complete conduit systems as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. B. Home runs indicated are to assist the contractor in identifying conduits to be installed concealed or exposed. Conduits identified to be installed exposed on the Drawings shall be run near the ceilings or along the walls of the areas through which they pass and shall be routed to avoid conflicts with HVAC ducts, lighting fixtures, doors, and hatches. Conduits indicated to be run concealed shall be run in the center of concrete floor slabs, in partitions, as required. C. Conduits and conductors are not shown completely on the drawings, including but not limited to conduits and conductors: between lighting, switches, receptacles, other miscellaneous low voltage and signal systems, except where they are required to pass through a restricted or designated spaces. Conduit and wiring descriptions are indicated on the riser diagrams for the Instrumentation Systems. The electrical subcontractor shall engage the services of an independent professional engineer registered in the State with specific experience in the design of seismic restraints and supports for electrical supporting systems hereinafter referred to as support engineer. E. All conduits that connect to the control building or the control box pump interconnect shall be “sealed” with a pour seal type sealant. It is vital to limit any intrusion of vapors from the wet well into the control room.
