The Town of Batesburg-Leesville, (herein referred to as the “Town”) is requesting proposals from qualified firms with experience in innovative turn-key professional services including project development and implementation of various energy, operational and water conservation savings initiatives, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), automatic meter reading technologies and various infrastructure improvements. The selected firm will provide comprehensive performance-based services for the design, installation, and commissioning of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system for the Town's municipal water system, including turnkey services to upgrade the Town’s water infrastructure, facilities, water metering and billing systems. The intent of the Town is to reduce operating costs, identify and remediate non-revenue water, and gain efficiencies in operation while simultaneously accomplishing needed improvements in its utilities, water usage, mechanical systems, communications, and other critical systems. The Town may also implement fiscally feasible green building initiatives or renewable energy projects to reduce its carbon footprint.
