Provide all services and materials to include masonry block for leveling, tie down straps, anchors, skirting and associated trim for skirting to disassemble, transport and reassemble 24’x36’ single classroom trailers from Chesterfield County Public Schools to designated locations. If a trailer is to be disposed of, all fees for landfill services are the responsibility of the Contractor. Disassemble and Removal of Trailer from Existing Location – Disassemble and remove single classroom trailers and reassemble at various Chesterfield County Public School locations. The Contractor shall: 1. Inspect hitch, axles, tires, and wheels for damage. 2. Inspect & ensure hitch safety latch is working properly. 3. Tighten all bolts per wheel manufacturer’s recommendations. 4. Ensure all hubs have all wheel bolts in the hub and are secured tight. 5. Ensure all utilities have been disconnected. (Actual disconnections are the responsibility of CCPS). 6. Secure all windows and doors prior to transport. 7. Remove skirting and anchor tie downs. 8. Remove and save for reinstallation, all canopies, aluminum decks and aluminum ramps/steps as applicable. 9. Dispose of all skirting and other miscellaneous debris off site, place canopies inside the trailer unit and secure the unit for transport. 10.Un-lag trailer unit at mateline and install shipping walls. Shipping wall materials shall be constructed of plywood (minimum ½” thick), 2’x4’ framing (minimum 4 studs with floor and ceiling plate) – spacing 4’wide and height ceiling to floor. Install on every 9’ center to center. The cost of the shipping wall materials shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. 11.Contractor shall not allow trailer(s) to be open to inclement weather at any time.
