The City of Farmington, NM (City) is requesting bids from qualified Bidder(s) for the loading, transporting, and recycling of oil filled electrical equipment. Equipment containing oil with less than 1ppm PCBs can be rebuilt or recycled and equipment that contained oil tested between 1 ppm and 50 ppm PCBs shall be recycled as scrap. The property is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" and "WITH ALL FAULTS". The City makes no warranties or representations, express or implied of any kind, except for the PCB concentration of oil and/or tar in the equipment. Used and Scrap Equipment, Current Inventory: The City is seeking bids for our current inventory of scrap and excess distribution electrical equipment, including pole and pad mount transformers, regulators, reclosers, current transformers, voltage transformers, and capacitors. Oil test reports certifying PCB concentrations will be provided for oil filled equipment that does not have PCB concentrations stamped on the nameplate. All but damaged units will contain oil.
