1. Facilitate and Manage Collaboration 1.1 Collaborate with multiple airport stakeholders to include Engineering, Facilities and Infrastructure (F&I), Construction Management (CM), Health & Safety, Airport Building Department (ABD), Fire, Project Management Group (PMG), and others to ensure standards are followed and consistency is maintained throughout projects progress. 1.2 Collaborate with designers, project managers, engineers, and technicians throughout the project to ensure proper installation, testing, integration of equipment and systems, and training is provided. 1.3 Lead meetings to provide guidance and direction to project team members, including subject matter experts, ensuring clarity of priorities, adherence to standards and processes, and timely completion of work. 1.4 Participate in committees and meetings, like Acquisition Planning, aviation oversight, and concept reviews, contributing to critical decisions and discussions. 1.5 Represent the Aviation Maintenance Director and Department in project discussions. 2. Design Review 2.1. Provide comments and aid designers in addressing design details and technical specifications during reviews that span various stages. Overseeing amendments, are imperative duties inherent to this influential position 2.2. Scrutinize and provide input on crucial elements such as submittals, change orders, material substitutions, and request for information (RFIs). Conducting quality check (QC) walks and inspections to ensure adherence to the contract documents. Attending weekly construction meetings 3. Project Oversight 3.1 Enforce adherence to Port of Seattle (Port) Standards, Guide Specifications, and Maintainability Standards ensuring consistency across all project work. 3.2 Evaluate and contribute to critical decisions, discussions, negotiations and resolutions on design changes or substitution which may result in project change orders affecting the budget, scope, and schedule.
