The concessionaire will be responsible for all costs associated with the renovation, operation, and maintenance of the Licensed Premises. Parks will view favorably proposals that include “green building” design elements and encourages the use of environmentally friendly products for all repairs and capital improvements. A list of products/materials relating to environmentally friendly practices in City construction projects is available in the New York City EPP Minimum Standards for Construction Products. Improvements, Major Repairs & Personal Equipment Parks is seeking proposals that include the following Improvements and Major Repairs: 1) Ederle Pavilion: • Repair and replace concrete and stucco façade as needed • Repair or replace gutters • Repair or replace awnings • Strip and repaint steel on kiosk • Strip and repaint steel railings on stairs, fence, and ADA walkway • Reinforce/repair ADA railing and supports • Repair pavers as needed to prevent ponding • Bring rolling shutters to code • Fit out interior kitchen • Repair, replace or install grease traps as required • Repair, replace or install HVAC as needed 2) Bike Rental Concessions: • Construct/Install a temporary enclosed structure, such as modular units for operations or storage system for bikes and related equipment • Acquire adequate supply and variety of bikes • Acquire adequate supply of required and recommended safety equipment 3) Boat Rental Concession: • Construct/Install a temporary enclosed structure, such as modular units for operations or storage system for boats and related equipment • Acquire adequate supply and variety of boats • Acquire adequate supply of required and recommended safety equipment (e.g. PFDs, life jackets, buoys, etc.)
