McHenry County is seeking to retain a qualified firm to perform the following services: 1. Review building permit applications for compliance with the adopted McHenry County Building Codes: 2021 ICC Codes, 2020 NEC, IL. Plumbing, Energy Codes and relevant Federal, State, and local laws and ordinances. 2. Provide written recommendation/report to County staff regarding approval or denial of permit applications. 3. Conduct a second compliance review of the permit resubmittal provided in response to the initial compliance review. 4. Conduct building and plumbing inspections of issued permits to determine compliance with the approved scope of work, the McHenry County Building Codes and Federal, State, and local laws and ordinances. 5. Provide written correction notices and reports to the County staff regarding approval or denial of the building or plumbing inspections.
