Contractor will be responsible for: • Removal of old J. R. Smith Model 8475-E grease interceptor. Saw, cut or jackhammer as needed to remove old interceptor. • Removal of any debris as a result of removing old interceptor. • Preparing the area for the new grease interceptor by removing any contaminated dirt or soil left behind as a result of possible old interceptor leaking. • Replacing any soil removed with sand, tampering and re-grading so the new interceptor sits in the ground securely. • Installing new J. R. Smith Model 8475-E. • Setting and leveling new interceptor. RE-plumb inlet and outlet sides and integrate them into the existing and outgoing waste lines. • Filling around the new interceptor with #57 rock to insure compaction. • Preparing the ground to pour concrete back in place. • Pouring concrete back in place. • Grease interceptor must not be out of service for more than two days
