Base Scope of Work • MCHA is soliciting bids to replace the Electrical Service Panels in (13) Thirteen Apartments. Maps of locations are attached to this request. • The New Service Panels shall be Siemens 100A 20 Space PN Series cat# (PN2020B1100C) • The New Circuit Breakers shall be Siemens Q Series and sized accordingly. • Eight (8) apartments will have an electric stove, all 13 will have at least one double 20amp for Air Conditioning and several single circuits. Water heaters are gas. • Any panel replacement started must be completed that day.•If drywall repair is needed after install, MCHA will do the repairs. • Contractor must relabel new circuit breakers. • All work must adhere to Ameren Illinois specifications and the National Electrical Code(NEC). • Work must be coordinated with MCHA staff, we will need at least two (2) days’ notice as the apartments are currently occupied. • The project must be completed within 60 days of contract award. • Contractor must obtain approval from the Modernization Manager prior to submitting any invoice. • If unforeseen conditions arise during construction that require additional work to achieve satisfactory completion, the contractor must notify MCHA immediately. • The contractor is fully responsible for repairing any damages to buildings, driveways, fences, landscaping, or other property caused by their personnel or subcontractors. All repairs must meet the satisfaction of MCHA. If not, liquidated damages equal to the cost of restoration will be deducted from the contract amount.
